EXTENTION ACTIVITY

As part of BEd curriculum  various extension activities were conducted in school. In association with the Chandrayan day celebrations  I and my colleague Anjana LR conducted quiz program with the help concerned teachers Sunil sir and Aruna ma'am on  (21/7/23). 

           The announcement for the quiz were given in the previous week itself .The questions for the quiz were prepared earlier and corrected by the concerned teachers. The quiz was conducted in 3 rounds. In the first round the students were filtered based the mark scored to second round. Only  5 of them were in the second round. From those students 2 students were choosen for final competition. It was very difficult to find winner. Almost 10 questions were asked to find the winner. Both of them were very talented students of 8 C. Finally Akshay from 8C won first prize and the prize were distributed to him in the next assembly. 

         For creating awareness regarding child abuse I and my colleague Anjana LR conducted an awareness class regarding CHILD ABUSE. As per the permission from Shibu sir, head master and Concerned class teacher class was taken in 9D on 1/8/23. 

                 Based on the previously prepared presentations we conducted the class. But due to lack of projector in class it was difficult to show the slide through laptop. With the help of examples they are familiar through news ,the topic is delivered to them clearly. The effort of bringing attention of students in a serious issue like child abuse was effective. It will be helpful for them to take up correct measures if they witness or experience such instances.
