WEEKLY REFLECTION - WEEK 10
The last week (13/2/23 -15/2/23) of teaching practice was memorable. Lots of lessons , memories, experiences and duties we have learned through our first phase of teaching practice.
On 13/2/23 the day began with a morning assembly conducted by 6 A students. Even though there was only 9 students in the class they participated well in the assembly. Headmistress thanked and appreciated the students for their performance in annual day. In the second hour I taught the students of 9 A the portion of echo and it was the last lesson plan among my 40 lesson plans. I distributed the papers of achievement test and corrected their mistakes. In the third hour I taught the 8 B students the last portion of the chapter static electricity. In 8 A the exercise question of static electricity were discussed in the fourth hour.
On 14/2/23 I have distributed notes and extra questions were discussed in 8 A class and 8 B class of the chapter water in the fifth and sixth hour. The last 5 mins I have utilized for feedback session. From their response received I am much proud and happy about my effort. During lunch break ee helped teachers in distributing food as part of mid day meal programme.
On 15/2/23 in the morning itself we returned the laboratory materials and updated our concerned teacher about our current position and completed portions. During the lunch break and internal we distributed sweets to teachers as a token of love. In the sixth hour I taught the 9 B students some portions of the chapter wave motion. It was a repeat class as per their request for those who were absent while discussing the content. I distributed sweets for students of the classes 8A, 8B , 9A and 9 B. Each and every student showed much respect and love and I consider it as a result for my effort in teaching. The feedback session was very much helpful for me to understand my positives as well as negatives. And by 4 pm we left the school campus and an end to first phase of teaching practice
