Weekly Reflection
Week -1

As part of BEd curriculum we  teacher trainees of RV training college were sent to different schools for school internship. 
We started our first phase teaching practise on 5/12/2022. I was placed in St Johns VHSS Ummannoor. We,( Anjana ,Malavika,Anuppalavi ,Sanjana and me) had already gone to the school to collect the portions and permissions. On 5/12/2022 we arrived the school by 9:30 am and met our concerned teachers.My teacher in charge was Benz sir , we met him and collected students informations.Also, Sheeba ma'am has given instructions to be maintained in school.There was an assembly in the morning by 9.45 am and was conducted by 9 A students.  The lesson plans and activity aids were already prepared and signed from Manju maam,our teacher . I began the first day of my teaching practise from 9 th A on the second hour. It was a wonderful experience. I have realised that i have to struggle in order to adjust to the new tight schedules. 
       The second day was another exciting day . Same as yesterday we reached the school on time. I taught the students of 9th A chemistry and 9th B physics on 6/12/'22.
           On 7/12/'22 I have only one period as per timetable. It was the 4 th period in 9 th A. Most of the students were successful  in remembering the content. Some of the boys showed very poor achievement. I have prepared  for my classes during the free hours and checked whether there any vacant classes. 
     On 9/12/2022 I got 3 substitution period. The first period was on 9 A, second hour on 9 B and the third hour was also in the 9 th B. In order to avoid boredom due to repetition of subject, I have showed some videos related to the content. 
    This week was really thrilling and interesting because it was such a really nice experience.I had to use new strategies in teaching since the students are really promising. I will try my best to improve my teaching style.
