WEEKLY REFLECTION
WEEK - 6



I had already prepared the lesson plans and teaching aids for this week (16/1/2023-20/1/2023) . All the teaching aids including slides, charts, activity cards were made according to the needs of the class. I had prepared my topics in sunday and I was confident to teach it. 

On 16/1/2023 Monday I had my observation class, I went to the school with well preparations. Manju teacher came there by 10:15 am, she checked and signed our lesson plan record and reflective journal. My class started after the first break, I started the class with relaxed mind. I tried my best to convey my ideas to my students. Since it was a complex portion, I concentrated much on explaining and discussions, the group discussion element lacked there. Manju teacher also mentioned the same mistake.

On  17/1/2023 I have to teach only two hours but I got one substitution period also. On that day I conducted diagnostic test in 9 A class based on previously prepared questions. The test was based on the chapter world of carbon

 On 18/1/2023 there was an assembly session in the morning. The assembly was conducted by 7 B students. All the students who presented contents in the assembly were energetic They tried to explain in both the languages English and Malayalam. On Wednesday I got only one period in 8 B class. 
    On 19/1/2023 I have only two periods . Third hour in 8 B and fourth in 9 B. In the afternoon session Benz sir checked our lesson plan record and he told us some suggestion for improvement. 


On 20/1/2023 as per timetable I have two periods. Second hour on 8 B and 5 th hour on 9 B. I have completed the chapter 'World of carbon ' in 9 B. On all days during free hours I have prepared lesson plans and teaching aids for upcoming lessons. On Tuesday and Wednesday I and my colleague sanjana helped teachers in distributing food for the mid day meal programme. On this week I tried to observe class of my colleague Anjana during my free time.
