INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION The  International Day of Yoga  has been  celebrated across the world annually on June 21 since 2015, following its inception in the United Nations General Assembly in 2014. Yoga  is a physical,mental and spiritual practice which originated in ancient India The Indian Prime Minister, Narendramodi in his UN address in 2014, had suggested the date of June 21, as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and shares a special significance in many parts of the world.  We the students of RV training college celebrated international yoga day by practicing some yoga postures. Our yoga instructor Sri. Balakrishna Kurup sir helped us a lot in our practice session.   In the programme some of the students  from our class explained the need and importance of yoga in our life and also mentioned it's benefits.   ...

WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY

WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY CELEBRATION World Environment Day  is celebrated annually on 5 June and is  for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of the environment.First held in 1973, it has been a platform for raising awareness on environmental issues such as marine pollution,overpopulation,global warming,sustainable development and wildlife crime.World Environment Day is a global platform for public outreach with participation from over 143 countries annually. This year's theme is ' Only One Earth ', which draws our attention towards playing our role effectively while living in perfect harmony with nature - without proving a burden on it. We the students of RV training college has celebrated the day by conducting  rally to provide public awareness , mime, vrikshapooja and by planting trees in our campus. 

FIELD TRIP

FIELD TRIP -VAGAMON A  field trip  or  excursion  is a journey by a group of people to a place away from their normal environment. In accordance with our planning, we the BEd trainees of RV Training college Valakom went to Vagomon, Idukki district for the field trip.  By talking necessary arrangements and concern from higher authorities and from parents, We started our journey from our college on 11 th March 2022 at 5 am under the guidance of our teachers.  Our first destination was the Eco adventure tourism park and paragliding point. By 11.30 we moved to the Pine valley forest. When yellow sum shine find it's way into forest through trees the environment becomes even more magical. It's called Tyndall effect.  Then we moved to vagamon Meadows. These type of bald hills without trees are the unique features of Vagomon.  After lunch we started our best part of the field trip none other than jeep trekking to Anchur...

SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAM "Teaching is the profession on which all other professions depend. Indeed, everybody who is anybody was enabled to become somebody by a teacher" The destiny of the country is being shaped in classrooms. This focuses on the crucial role the teaching community is expected to play in making education qualitative. Hence considerable attention have been given to teacher education by all societies throughout the world.   The sole purpose of intiatory school experience is to provide the student teacher an opportunity to have primary experiences with the functioning of the school. This school attachment program is for a period of five continues working days giving an opportunity to acquaint with the school environment and their day to day functioning.  As part of the school induction program, we teacher trainees of Rama vilasom training college were sent to GHSS Thevannoor for the school visit on 17/1/22 to 21/1/22 . World Aids Day HIV remains a major public health issue that affects millions of people worldwide. Although the world has made significant progress in recent decades,  important global targets for 2020 were not met. The theme of World AIDS Day  2021 is  “ End inequalities. End AIDS ”.   With a special focus on  reaching people left behind , WHO and its partners are highlighting the growing inequalities in access to essential HIV services.  We the students of RV training college has celebrated world aids day.
