CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME

Capacity building programme Capacity building programme is a process of developing and strengthening the skill and attitude. The training of teachers one of the pillars of the sustainable development and national capacity building or any society. The programme of capacity building helps to increase the confidence level and it helps to increase the co operation and interaction among the peers.  One day workshop on 'Stress management' organized by department of general education conducted by Sri. Bhrahma Nayakom Mahadevan was our capacity building programme. It was conducted on 7/11/2022 from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.  The session was very interactive and he conducted some interesting activities, it engaged all the students.

Capacity Building Activity Capacity building means any activity that seeks to increase the skills, knowledge or networks of an individual or group. As part of the BEd curriculum we teacher trainees of RV training college introduced the skill of empathy through a role play.  Empathy is the ability to recognize emotions in others, and to understand other people's perspectives on a situation.  On 3/11/2022 we presented the role play depicting the story of a school student suffering from a disease. We portrayed three kinds of people through the play one kind having a never mind attitude another having sympathy and the last having the true sense of empathy towards the needy.   Empathy is a broad concept that refers to the cognitive and emotional reactions of an individual. FIELD TRIP (Sem 2 ) -Kuttalam and Thenmala

FIELD TRIP A  field trip  or  excursion  is a journey by a group of people to a place away from their normal environment. In accordance with our planning, we the BEd trainees of RV Training college Valakom went to Thenmala and Kuttalam for the field trip.  By talking necessary arrangements and concern from higher authorities and from parents, We started our journey from our college on 4 th November 2022 at 7 am under the guidance of our teachers. By 8.20 we reached Thenmala and had breakfast from a near by Restaurant.  Our first destination was Kuttalam main waterfalls .  By 11 we moved too Kuttalam five falls .  By 1pm we started our journey to Themala. After lunch by 3.00 we started best part our field  trip none other than boating. The Shenduruny Eco tourism offers an hour boating in the reservoir of Thenmala. കേരളപ്പിറവി ദിനാഘോഷം

We RV training college students conducted various programmes on November 1 st. The General Education and Higher Education Departments has decided to form a human chain on November 1, Kerala Piravi Day. As part of the programme we the RV institutions formed the human chain by around 3.00 pm. Following which, a pledge  was taken against drug use.  The programme will mark the end of the first phase of the Higher Education Department’s campus-level anti-narcotic awareness campaign ‘Bodha Poornima.  As part of the campaign we conducted flash mob and street play. 

ANTIDRUG CAMPAIGN AND PROCESSION

Anti-drug  Campaign and Procession As drug cases mount alarmingly, Kerala launched a month-long campaign  to wean youngsters from contraband and make them aware of hidden dangers in destructive substances. Inaugurating a campaign called “No to drug”, chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan made an emotional appeal to all citizens to participate in the campaign. He said more than a CM he was talking to youngsters as their grandparent and as a brother to their parents. As part of the program we the RV training college students has conducted e poster competition, poetry and essay competition and Procession.  There was a session for pledge against the use of drugs . We took the pledge by holding a candle in our hand .
