ONAM CELEBRATION Onam is  a harvest festival which celebrates the return of the legendary King Mahabali/Maveli to the state. The festival falls in the month of Chingam, between August and September, according to the Malayali calendar. It also marks the beginning of the Malayalam year, called Kolla Varsham.  We, RV college students celebrated onam on 31/8/2022. The program titled " Nallonam Vannonam".  It includes various programs like atathapookalamalsaram,musical chair, tug of war etc.  For Athappokalam competition House 3 secured First prize and House 2 and 1 secured second and third prize respectively.  For Malayali manka competition Aleena from second year, physical science secured second prize. Independence Day   India is celebrating the 75th anniversary of its independence with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign. But it still is the 76th Independence Day. As part of the Mahotsav or grand celebration, several events and campaigns have been organised for 75 weeks to celebrate independence and the glorious history of India’s people, culture and achievements.  The journey of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav began on March 12, 2021, starting a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of independence. We the students of RV training college  started our celebration from 12 th August by conducting various programmes like quiz, poster making, Freedom wall and exhibition.  By 9 am our principal Dr. Rany ma'am hoisted the flag.  We physical science students bowed to the land by singing Vande Mataram.
